Michelle Rasich

For over 25 years, Michelle has counseled and guided students. Since 2010, she has worked as a college counselor at Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she is currently the Director of College Counseling. Prior to 2010, she worked for two years at Scripps College as the Associate Dean of Students and at Harvey Mudd College for five years as the Assistant Dean of Students/Dean of Residential Life.

Education: Michelle graduated from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1994 and received her Bachelor's Degree from Bowdoin College (ME) in 1991.  

Professional Engagement: Michelle is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC), and the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS). She is a Past President of the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling and she is nationally known as an expert, leader, and presenter on the topic of college letters of recommendation. From 2018 - 2021, Michelle served on the NACAC Ad Hoc Committee, NACAC Governance and Restructuring. In 2017, Michelle was invited to serve as a NACAC Conference Local Advisory Committee Co-Chair for the national conference that was held in Salt Lake City in September of 2018. She has served on the Colorado College, Colorado School of Mines, University of Utah, and Willamette University Counselor Advisory Boards.

Personal: Michelle and her husband graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School (UT), left the state twice, and returned to Utah to be close to family, and raise their two girls here-Lauren, Bates College Class of ‘19 and Megan, University of San Diego Class of ‘23.

Coral Azarian

For over 10 years, Coral has worked in education at the college and high school level. Since 2015, she has worked as a college counselor at Rowland Hall and prior to that she worked as the Graduate Assistant for Student Involvement at Westminster College. After graduating from college in 2009 she worked in Admissions at her alma mater, Stonehill College, and at Providence College.

Education: Coral earned a M.Ed. from the University of Utah, Department of Educational Leadership and Policy in 2014 and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Stonehill College (MA) in 2009.

Professional Engagement: Coral is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC), and the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS). She is currently serving as the UT Delegate and Mentorship Chair on the Executive Board of the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling and in 2017-2018, she was asked to serve as the NACAC Conference Social Committee Co-Chair for the national conference that was held in Salt Lake City in September of 2018. During her time in admissions in New England, Coral also served on the Annual Meeting and Conference Planning Committee for the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC). In addition to her committee work, Coral has presented at regional conferences for both RMACAC and NEACAC, national conferences for ACCIS, and presented at the 2019 NACAC Conference in Louisville, Kentucky on incorporating student leadership into the college counseling process. 

Personal: Coral grew up on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. She and her now husband both graduated from Stonehill College in 2009 and in 2011 moved to Salt Lake City to pursue career and educational opportunities. They married in July of 2018 and in January 2020, they welcomed their first child, Cameron Ann into their family. In her free time, Coral can be found cooking, eating, or reading out in her back yard.
