  • Why do colleges ask for essays?

  • How are they used in the admission process?

  • Essay Do’s & Don’t’s?

Students Will Design & Do the following:

  • Participate in a topic brainstorming activity

  • Do a “Why Us?” research and drafting exercise

  • Review and evaluate sample “Why Us?” essays
